History of Albion Hills Bible Church

In 1980/1981 a small group of people met at Chuck and Celeste Zugec’s home on Humber Station Rd. in Caledon to talk about the bible. Evangelist, Bob Knight helped in the bible studies and became the first pastor. Out of this bible study, a church was established!

On Sunday March 13, 1983 at 11:00 am they met for their first time of worship as the Albion Hills Bible Church. The founding members were: Ken & Marg Dickson, Chuch & Cleste Zugec, Mike & Heather Mackey and Ed & Aime Kozlowski. From an initial congregation of six families, the church grew to 14 families in one year .

The church propery was owned by Margaret and Ken Dickson. The Dicksons had renovated their old barn, which was brought up from Mississauga for retreats and conferences. This building became the home of Albion Hills Bible Church. Today the property is owned by Sue and David Moritz. We are so grateful to the Moritz and Dickson families for allowing their propery to be used for church related functions and for the glory of God.

In 1983 we began supporting the Weirs (Howard and Kathy) - our first missionaries.

Since the departure of Bob Knight in 1986, Phil Hainault, John Beerley and Paul Dixon have served as pastors over the years. On February 20, 2008, Bill Bogers was appointed as our first Elder. Bill Bogers soon became our pastor and we are gratefull to have Bill and Sue serving with us today.
